Amnesia Resource Stub

I suck at giving amnesia suggestions. If you ask around the community for advice on getting these suggestions to work, 90% of your responses will be changing the shape of some sort of metaphor that puts a memory in a box. This isn’t a complete guide - but should at least get people started if they want to read more.

A few caveats:

  • Amnesia suggestions won’t let you get away with bullshit. As Binaural Histolog puts it, don’t be this guy.
  • Start small. When it works, it’s surprising and can make the recipient feel quite vulnerable.
  • If it isn’t clear at this point, amnesia as a phenomena has sharp edges. Safety 3rd. This document’s job is to get you started. Your job is to keep you and your partner safe.
