Because it’s not a sin to be smarter than your hypnotist.
There’s loads of (mis)information available for hypnotists - but what about subjects? Sure there’s a few blog posts here and there, but the interested subject will end up reading books geared towards therapeutic, recreational, or erotic hypnosis. Or dog forbid - sinking in to a pile of self-hypnosis books and tolerating a display of fifteen rebranded ways to transform yourself through dissociation.
While you can learn how suggestions work, or gleam some ideas on engaging during the session, you don’t really get information advocating for your position.
This set of guides aims to fill that gap. I’ll give you a starting point on how to stay safe(ish,) have fun, communicate, and maximize your response.
