210.10 - Encouragement

Encouraging your subject is just a nice thing you can do during your session that’s free. There’s little risk, and just feels nice.

I Encourage You

I’m admittedly weak at giving encouragement during a session - I’m usually so focused on watching responses and figuring out my next move that I forget to sprinkle these in.

Good job!

It’s almost a trope to hear “you’re doing so well” during a session. If you haven’t been on the receiving end of this - it feels surprisingly nice to hear this and not be expected to respond.

Hell - if your partner has a praise kink - it’s almost cheating, but having them stuck and zonked and giving them compliments is fun.

That’s right

Remind your subject that they’re on the right track. A well placed “that’s right” when you see a response can help intensify it.

And it’s okay to…

You can also let your subject know that whatever’s going on is all right… Some examples…

I don’t want you to force or fight anything, I just want you to experience what you experience.

And sometimes we notice these thoughts bubble up to the surface as our focus shifts. That’s perfectly fine and expected… You can just notice these thoughts, and find that just as easily as they came, they can leave… And sometimes, it’s all right to follow them, just letting my voice follow along in the background as it slowly moves to the foreground.

And you may notice the sound of your air-conditioner in the background, or how your body feels in the chair, or even the lewd protogen far away in the distance playing with his USB port. All these sounds can remind us that everything is fine, and the world will continue on for this moment as you enjoy your session.

We’re on the same team…

If you’re taking a more collaborative approach, we can use…

And you’re doing so well. We can see all these changes and sensations that your powerful mind can create, as we work together to create that sensation of warmth.
