200.04 - Buy In

This is more aligned towards street hypnosis than recreational hypnosis - but there’s still a few takeaways we can use in many situations.

Getting Buy-In

This is a James Tripp - Hypnosis Without Trance concept - but here’s a few tools you can employ in the right situation.

  • If you’re not just doing a practice session, ask them what they’d like to experience. If they’re not sure, or if they’re one of those do-whatever-you-want types, try some of these ideas. If none of those stroke their goat, they may be more motivated to think of what they’d like. Do they want trance depth? Relaxation? Mind control vibes? A little anxiety relief? Intimacy? A new trigger?
  • If you’re a bit more forward - you can ask them how they’d respond to some of the suggestions you’d give them. Most people know how to make their body rigid or freeze in place - but if you’re planning on tinkering with hypnotic amnesia, asking them how they might approach it will both get their active participation and give you clues as to how you might provide the suggestion.
